August Fun

We have had a crazy busy August. It's actually been too crazy for my liking. Thousands of t-shirts have been printed, hundreds of miles have been driven and two missionaries have come home. Even though we've been busy we've made time for some fun too! Sam and Ben LOVE to run through the sprinklers. Here they are cooling off on a hot summer day. There's nothing more joyful than little kids squealing in delight as they run through the sprinklers!


We also went to the fair. Actually, we went to two county fairs. The kids loved the rides and animals. I entered my quilt in the Utah County Fair and won a blue ribbon! I won a whoppin' $3.






We had our long lost cousins from Virginia come to our house. We haven't seen them in a year, so the boys didn't remember their cousins, but they quickly became friends again. The highlight of their evening was watching Cars in their pj's waaaayyy past their bedtimes. The adults played the Barbie game and made posters for Lydia.



After we picked up Lydia from the airport we had lunch and a photo session at temple square. The pictures of the grandkids started out nice and quickly became silly. They thought it was funny to ruin the pictures their parents were trying so hard to get!





The kids quickly found some water to play in. There's just something wonderful about cool water in the summer!







Whew, that post took me a long time to compose. I'm going to have to learn more about placing pictures in these posts. Why do the new pictures keep showing up at the top of the post??? I think the PC guys invented this website...
