Cox Farms and the Baptism

Our Virginia trip continues...

On our third day we went to a place called Cox Farms and had a blast. It's a local farm that has built these huge slides that are fun for adults and kids. They also have animals, a hayride, corn maze and free apple cider & apples. We all had lots of fun, especially going down the slides. Here's some pictures:

Big Foot

Cousins in their "nest"

My favorite slide--the Dinosaur (yes, Sara did win)

My boys LOVE their cousin Sadie

The kids were fascinated by the wasps that flew in the recycle bin

Our family on the hayride

More slides!

Weeeeeeeeee!!!!

That evening Sadie was baptized! We are so proud of her for making this important decision and being such a great example to her cousins. Sadie wore the same baptism dress that her great-grandma wore when she was baptized in 1917.

  1. Yay! I'm glad you are back! But I'm also glad you guys had a good time. I can't wait to see the fabric you bought and hear more about your fun adventure. We are still getting over our colds/croup so it may still be a few days. Talk to you soon!
